Katie Todaro is an artist and graphic designer living in Seattle, WA.

In addition to numerous mixed media projects, Todaro creates large-scale digital pigment prints. Using personal photographs of architectural elements and the unique visuals that appear in urban spaces, Todaro begins to alter, deconstruct and reorganize hundreds of images into intricate and abstract landscape scenes. Todaro has found a way to create delicacy through graphic printing. Her compositions and treatment of each photographic layer is almost painterly in nature. Building these compositions layer by layer create depth and generate movement and rhythm. Todaro strives to produce artwork that forces viewers to spend time visually dissecting and exploring.

Todaro’s artwork has been shown in galleries in Amherst, Hopkinton, and Boston Massachusetts as well as Portsmouth, NH.  Creating artwork for others to enjoy, utilize, and appreciate is what excites and drives Todaro to continue to experiment with and develop her craft.
